OBGYN 's  Response
Hello sir,I understand your concern. In pregnancy swelling of feet can be both physiological and pathological.physiological means which is not associated with any medical problem and commonly seen. This physiological edema releives with 12hrs of bed rest.pathological means which is associated with some problem like anaemia with low proteins, raised blood pressure and excess amniotic fluid. And pathological swelling cause should be treated to decrease the swelling.so consult your ObGy and take treatment accordingly. And she can do the things like lying down with foot end elevated, avoid prolonged standing and taking good protienacious diet. And don't worry both types of swelling will disappear after delivery.
