Suggest Remedy For Swelling Of The Inguinal Lymph Node

My inguinal lymph node on my right side was swollen about six weeks ago. It is not painful at all, and I can only feel it with my fingertips. By the time I was able to get in to see my doctor the swelling had decreased but was still noticable. My doctor said it was probably fat deposits and to come back in two months. (That was 3 weeks ago) I just finished my period a week ago and the swelling is back up to what it was initially. Could there be a connection and do I need to request an earlier appointment?

It could probably be a fat deposit called Lipoma. Its common in that area. You can get an FNAC done to be sure. It is a test in which they put a small needle into the lump and take out some part of the lump and see it under a microscope to diagnose what it is. Let us know the result and we can guide you further what should be done. Take care.
