Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history pain in abdomen on eating something.
Upper GI Endoscopy is normal and now planned for colonoscopy.
The causes of pain in abdomen particularly after eating are:
Gastric or duodenal ulceration, but has been ruled out.
The causes can be appendicitis or any other inflammatory cause in the abdomen wherein one gets reflex pain on eating as the body wants to protect the area inflamed.
There can be an intestinal obstruction, but this is usually associated with nausea and vomiting, bloating and so on.
I would advise you the following:
- X-ray of the abdomen on pain in standing position.
Barium studies.
- Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen.
- Clinical evaluation and examination.
Once diagnosed get it treated medically or surgically as indicated.
