I have small red spots on my shoulders, when pressed under a glass or have pressure on them they dissappear for a few seconds. They do not come out of the skin, they are only marks. I have had them for approximately a year. I can t find a way to pop them. I Googled and found Molluscum Contagiosum, however upon further research I have found this is not the case.
Hi. As per your case history you are having purpuric rash. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months. 4. Other treatment options are topical steroid, multivitamins taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
