Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi Lana,

I read your query and can understand your concern. Hearing voices and visualising things are termed hallucinations which can occur due to a primary psychotic disorder as well as developing secondary psychotic symptoms due to depression.
More details would be needed regarding your symptoms, like your age, other symptoms like your mood, etc.

In any case, you should consult a psychiatrist for further evaluation and management. You might need treatment with anti-psychotics with or without anti-depressants.

Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
