My son had a traumatic brain injury due to a skateboarding accident in May of this year. Today he experienced a an increasing sharp pain on his fracture site on h is head, which is fairly large. It increased in pain over a 2 hour period and he lost some possible b les CSF from his nose and throat. Do you feel h is is directly related and should I have a doctor look at him again even though he was released? He is 16.
Hello, since there has been a brain injury in the past (Did you mean March?), I absolutely advise you to go see his doctor right away. If you think there has even been CSF visible, make him lay down with a 30degree angle of the upper body and call an ambulance to make sure he stays safe on the way to the hospital. All the best to you!
