Suggest Remedy For Severe Sore Throat And Cough

ive had a sore throat for weeks now, but it keeps switching sides. Never a fully sore throat. for a few days its the right, then for a few days its the left.. and back and forth. Hurts more so at night. Slight airy cough on occasion. No discernible drainage. i went to the clinic 2 1/2 weeks ago and they gave me a zpack but that didnt help. Ive taken a ton of different cold and alergy medicines.. nothing seems to help
