Suggest Remedy For Severe Right Sided Abdominal Pain

Hello Dr, Here are the details: Current status - I am having a acute pain in my right abdomen. I am unable to guess if i have a blood in my stool, it is dark brown/tarry. I had undergone Ultra Sonography test of my whole abdomen, but reports were normal. I showed it to my nearest doctor and he has prescribed me Ciplox TZ, Rifagut 400 & Zentel 400 History - I was occasional drinker and regular smoker, and have quit.

You did not mentioned about the site of abdominal pain. If it is at right upper abdomen it is most likely due to liver pathology. Though ultrasound report came normal one liver function test can be done. Alcohol consumption itself a risk factor of liver damage. There are other pathology affecting liver which can not be detected on usg but based on liver enzymes.
You also did not mentioned the time duration of your pain. Severe pain can be originated from pancreas specially in pancreatitis which may radiate to right side of abdomen. Which can be detected by serum amylase level.
Other lower abdominal pain of right side may involve renal or appendicular origin. Appendicitis diagnosis often missed by regular ultrasound. So it also may be a chance.
