Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Stomach And Diarrhea Due To Overeating

My cousin ate Indomie (noodles) with an egg after a heavy meal. She couldn t sleep that night, complaining of severe stomach pain and a slight fever and diarrhea. Although she s in a lot of pain, she didn t take any painkillers. What can she do? Should she go to a doctor?

Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns....
Based upon the history you have provided it seems you have got Gastroenteritis....
All u need is to maintain your hydration and replace your fluid loss. Drink plenty of water and add lemon and salt in it. If you are not vomiting actively start semisolid diet.
For stomach pain you need to take Omeprazole.
You will be alright in two days. Do avoid beverages and fast food.
Normally antibiotics are not recommended in diarrhoea .but if it associated with fever or blood in stools then consult your doctor so that appropriate antibiotics can be prescribed...
Stay safe and get well soon
