Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Knee With A Knot

I went to bed and woke up with knee pain. It was painful, but I could walk. Now, since this morning, the pain has progressed and I have a knot. I am in excruciating pain. I cannot walk without being in pain. It hurts to walk up and downstairs or just walk. It hurts to bend and I cannot lift it without assistance.

I have studied your case and i believe that there can be two possibilities. First it can be a knee effusion due to knee synovitis. This can be treated with hot eater fomentation.
other possibility can be that you might be having parameniscal cyst. This cyst is due to herniation of the fluid through knee capsule. To confirm the diagnosis i would recommend you to get MRI of the knee joint . If this cyst is confirmed after MRI than I would recommend you to get arhroscopic menisectomy.

I think that you are having a knee synovitis. In this condition there is fluid collection in the knee joint and some time a cyst formation can also occur. To confirm the diagnosis I would recommend you to show it to a orthopedic surgeon and see if he confirm this diagnosis.
According to that further management can be planned. You will need compression bandage, hot water fomentation.. If even than your pain is not under control than you need a steroid injection in the knee joint.
