I am 67 years of age and had both cataracts done. In March 2011 I had the last one which was the left eye. Since then I feel awful pressure in my eyes and am very sensitive to light and have to keep squinting my eyes. I have to wear sunglasses watching TV because cannot bear the glare.
About 3 months later I started getting headaches which developed into severe migraines that would last anything between 10-15 hours. Doctors has tried several types of stronger pain killers but no amount of medication would stop them. I tried everything. They eventually go by themselves.
Had 2 opinions and they say my eyes do not show any pressure and everything looks fine. Thankfully, the headaches do not happen every day but they do several times a week, However, I feel like there is something at the back of my head (left side) behind ear/eye all of the time. Had tests including MRI but nothing shows up.

I have started to take more note when the migraines start and it appears that on my left side from under my shoulder blades right up my neck to back of my head it feels swollen and very painful to touch. Sometimes I can move my neck around and make sure I do not press anything on my shoulder and that can sometimes alleviate or get rid of the headache (but not always).

Can anyone please help me. The Medical Profession has not been able to help me.
