Suggest Remedy For Severe Headache

Do I need to have my Lopressor changed? I take it in the morning and again at night. (100 mg twice a day) for the tachycardia and Norvasc in the morning for the blood pressure. I can tell when it s high because I get a really bad headache. What do I need to do? Could this all keen that two of my leaking valves are getting worse?

I read your query and I understand your concern.

It's hard to say whether it's blood pressure related or not without having measurement values. High blood pressure can cause headaches, but would have to be really high for them to be severe, so values are needed to judge whether high blood pressure is enough of an explanation or whether there could be other causes.
If related to hypertension it must be addressed to ease the pain and prevent further complications. You are under treatment with two widely used, effective drugs, but some patients need several drugs of different classes to control their blood pressure, so if you have high blood pressure there are other options with other classes of drugs like diuretics, ACE inhibitors or ARBs.
You can take acetaminophen for the pain but that doesn't eliminate the need to address blood pressure.
I am not sure what you mean by leaking valves, if you mean heart valve issues, no, I don't think that is the cause.

I hope to have been of help.
