Suggest Remedy For Severe Cough Causing Pain In The Ribs
I am 39 years old i was having severe cough from 2 weeks ,?
i visited my doctor , who priscibed amikacin injection, along with some other antibiotics(nupod, doxilin) and some cough syrp. CRF-D .
but the cough is as good as before . no change in the cough .(its not a normal cold cough doctor said its some bacterial infection, and chronic cough)
my coughing starts normally at the times i speak, or just after meals and at the time i sleep, so i can"t even sleep properly. i have pain in my ribs too.
what to do ? :(

In my opinion, we should rule out pneumonia (lung infection) in your case.
So get done chest x ray and sputum culture and sensitivity report.
Culture report will isolate the causative organism and sensitivity report will guide about effective antibiotic treatment.
By this we can achieve speedy recovery with appropriate antibiotics.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas of chest for painting relief.
