Suggest Remedy For Runny Nose And Cough In A Child

Hi Doc, this is the first time I am submitting my query in this forum. I look forward to your advise. My son is 23 months old, weight 10.5kg. He is sufferring from running nose, cough since past 3-4 days. We have been giving him timinic syrup ( 2ml) 3 times a day but of its not showing any result. He goes to daycare and I am vey worried about his health. Pls advise.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
You should increase the dose of timinic to about 4-5ml/dose.
LOcal instillation of saline nasal drops will help.
Steam inhalation will give prompt relief.
Avoid cool drinks and ice creams.
Keep him in warm atmosphere(avoid AC rooms).
