Suggest Remedy For Removing Lipoma From Upper Back

I am looking to get a lipoma removed from my upper back (approx. 5cm x 6cm). It is an outpatient procedure under local anesthetic and I was quoted an out of pocket estimate of $4,600 - $5,200 at a local hospital. This seems very high to me and I was wondering how much a procedure like this generally is and if there is a more cost-effective solution such as a specialist or plastic surgeon of some sort I could look into? Thank you in advance!!

Hi.
As per your case history of Lipoma, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it to avoid infection.
3. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.

Thanks.
