Suggest Remedy For Recurring Headache Due To Sinusitis
Hi, For the past couple of years I have suffered from pressure headaches, which seem to be sinus related. Although I get other symptoms where I get tired in the middle of the day and feel I have no energy. This can happen in the middle of the day and then I feel fine in the evening. I sometimes get cold feet and occasional dry mouth also. This tends to happen in periods and I can be fine for weeks.
You can go for x-ray skull PNS(para nasal sinus). It can confirm that headache is due to sinusitis.
The best thing to get rid of this problem is course of antibiotic like azythromycin or levofloxacin for 5 days.Simultaneously decongestant and anti allergic medicine should be taken. With that some cold vaporizer inhalation from warm water should also be taken. If all above this measure failed to treat, diagnosis should be reevaluated. If there is polyp in sinus surgical intervention is necessary.
Best way is to consult ENT surgeon(Otorhinologist) for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Regards, Dr.Chintan Solanki
