Suggest Remedy For Recurring Boils In Diabetiics
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here.im suffering from recurring boils since last year. i was told that i have impaired glucose tolerance. does this mean i am diabetic?i have been treated for many types of antibiotics for more than a year , i am now taking metfromin once a day and aspirin 80mg once a day also. i dont know if there are some improvements. my hba1c shows i have normal sugars after taking those.

Impaired glucose tolerance means you are a prediabetic. Prediabetes is generally managed by diet, exercise and losing weight. As for as your recurrent boils are concerned , please do a culture and sensitivity of the pus present in the boils. in most cases when antibiotics are prescribed randomly they might suppress the infection and not completely eliminate it. These keep recurring with minimal amount of fluctuating sugars. So you can take a full antibiotic course in accordance with the pus culture and sensitivity report and I am very confident that you will recover fully from the current problems.
