Suggest Remedy For Recurrent Fever In An Infant

Hi, my 9 month old baby have had fever in the last 3 days since he had ears infection. I have giving him baby s paracetamol every 4 hours but i dont think it is healthy for my baby to keep having fever back when i don t give him paracetamol. Please advise?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If he has an ear infection this needs to be treated. Once the source of infection is treated then the fever would resolve.
If he is receiving treatment for the ear infection and the fever is not resolving then he may need to be reassessed.

While he still has the fever then it should be treated with an anti pyretic (anti fever ) medication such as paracetamol because he may feel uncomfortable.
