Suggest Remedy For Rectal Bleeding And Pain With History Of Internal Hemorrhoids

I am a 42 year old male. I have sarcoidosis and I was diagnosed with internal hemroids in 2007. I have not been to dr. much in past 8 years. I have been bleeding a lot in past 2 years . here recently I have started hurting in my pelvic area and having a discharge from my anus. I also have been waking up with my arms hurting from elbow down and my hands being completely num.

Hi Sir,

Welcome to HCM.

I understand your concern.

Your symptoms of internal haemorrhoids have clearly progressed in the last 8 years.

The discharge could possibly represent the formation of any infective focus like an abscess.

It's very important that you get a CT scan of the pelvis to accurately locate and stage abscess.

Likewise at the same time a per rectal examination by a surgeon is mandated in your case to stage internal haemorrhoids.

Based on the results appropriate surgical intervention will be carried out.

Pertaining to the numbness and pain of the elbows down to arms, this probably represents a manifestation of sarcoidosis itself.

I advise you to get serum calcium levels checked.

Since bone involvement is common in sarcoidosis, x-ray of both forearms in AP and lateral views will be helpful.
