Suggest Remedy For Rashes On Face After Having Paracetamol

Hello Dr

I had fever and body pain I have one paracetamol tab after break fast and after lunch...by evening my body pain and fever gone but some rashes come on my face..when consult Dr..he told me it's allegy...and gave me lazine tab...did I need to test my blood??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain in case if youhad fever and body aches it can be due to viral infection and Paracetamol is appropriate medication for reducing fever and body aches..
In case if after taking 2 doses of paracetamol there has been rashes it can be probably be due to allergic reaction to it..
Although Paracetamol is a milder non steroidal anti-inflammatory painkiller and chances of allergy are less..
In case if after taking Lazine the symptoms subsided it might be probably be due to it.
But in case if there is any doubt you can very well get blood tests done to rule out the exact cause of allergic reaction and if it is due to Paracetamol it will be confirmed..
