Suggest Remedy For Rashes On Body Of A Toddler Post Treatment For Fever

My grand daughter is 13 months old. Last nite we took her to ER for a temp of 101.4 but what is so scary is she has a horrible rash over her whole body now. The blood work came back good for the platelets in her blood. I have 3 grown children and have never seen anything like this rash. It is big, blotchy pinkish red and a few small bumps in middle. They said they had no idea what it was. Gave her a steroid shot and Tylenol for fever. The rash is going down to her but and little legs. It is itching her. I called her ped. and they said to give her benedyrl. The 23rd of Dec. she was sick with RSV and was getting better slowly but getting better and now this rash and fever. Please help me. Trish
