Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I will keep a possibility of
Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD) to tattoo ink, as the reason behind rashes and oozing.
Yellow discharge on dressing suggests that there is a secondary bacterial infection and some oozing.
I was the treating doctor I would have started you on an empirical course of oral antibiotic to help resolve secondary bacterial infection.
My choice of an empirical oral antibiotic would have been either flucloxacillin Or
cephalexin, for a week.
You may stop Neosporin because it can itself cause allergy. Neosporin is a well known topical sensitizer.
Specific treatment for Allergic Contact Dermatitis, would include topical potent steroid+antibiotic combination creams (e.g
clobetasol propionate+
fusidic acid cream), to be applied twice daily for a week or 10 days. Topical steroids are prescription products.
An OTC oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg once daily would provide you symptomatic relief from itching.
I would suggest that you visit a
dermatologist in your region for the needful.
Your treating dermatologist might also start you on a short course of an oral steroids if deemed necessary, to take faster control of the allergic contact dermatitis.
Take care
