Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. A lot of males have problems of early ejaculation. Anxiety during sexual intercourse is considered as one of main reasons behind early ejaculation. So to prolong ejaculation time I'd advise you to try to distract yourself from sex during intercourse. Try to remain relaxed and don't anticipate that you will ejaculate earlier. Sometimes local anaesthetic agents like lignocaine jelly are also used off label to delay ejaculation time. The drug when applied over tip of penis reduce the sensitivity of penis and thus helps in delaying the ejaculation. If ejaculation time doesn't improve by these methods then consider consulting a psychiatrist. Don't feel distressed that your future is spoiled. There is nothing like that.

Medicines especially SSRIs like Paroxetine, Sertraline etc are known to delay the ejaculation. These medicines when used regularly help to increase the ejaculation time. Apart from this Dapoxetine is a newer SSRI drug that can be even used on SOS basis. The drug is advised to be used about half to one hour before intercourse and thus help to delay the ejaculation time. Please consult a psychiatrist for prescription of these drugs.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
