Hi my husband has these terrible bumps on his buttocks and they look almost like big pimples. They are very very swollen and they hurt him to touch. He has gotten one popped and it looked as if a needle was poked into it pretty deep. What could these things be??
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pimples on buttock which are red and swollen which seems to be due to inflammation of hair follicles leading to foliculitis which is a bacterial infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with application of betnovate two to three times a day. You should wash maintain proper hygiene and dryness of area. Apply topical antibacterial ointment such as Mucopiorin 2%. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper examination. You can go for proper antibiotic course.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
