Suggest Remedy For Pimples In Head

I have a pencil eraser sized pimple that doesnt have a head. Its swollen like a bug bite. I dont usually wash my face or wear face makeup but it is near to be that time of the month and I think its hormonal. I applied acne cream and iced it and plan on heat compressing it in the morning. What else do I do to get my second head off my cheek?!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of pimples.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Apply a clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 30 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral doxycyline, minocycline and isotretinoin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
