Suggest Remedy For Persistent Painful Bump In-between Thigh And Vagina

I have had a medium sized bump that looks like a pimple of some sort on the crease where my inner thigh and vagina meet at the top area. It hurts when i pop it, and ive done this numerous amounts of times and it still hasnt gone away. I have had this bump for about 3 months now. When i pop it,it smells horid. First it was a whiteish color,then white and bloody, and now just bloody. Got tested for all stds,dont have any, so i really am wonderinng what it is and how to get rid of it.

hi. i understand the problem you are going through. you seem to have a sebaceous cyst because any simple bacterial infection would have healed by now. also you have mentioned about the smell. sebaceous cysts have a typical bad odour and also they are persistent.

if i were your treating physician i would start you on a penicillin group of antibiotics and excise the cyst. cyst excision is a minor office procedure. you would need antibiotics for 7-10 days post procedure and the wound will completely heal by approximately 10 days.

i suggest you see a local dermatologist and discuss regarding cyst excision.
