Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough

My doctor prescribed me co amoxiclav augmentin and celestamine for my cough and my throat. But i cough harder and i cant sleep and when i slept i just woke up coughing... :( i bought robitussin DM over the counter. I stop taking celestamine. Is augmentin and robitussin DM are safe to take? I want to stop this annoying cough for my interview tomorrow for the job im applying... I need an effective medicine to stop this cough.... :(

You can continue antibiotic and complete the course.
If its dry cough you can use dextromethorphine based cough syrup for effective relief.
Avoid smoking.
