Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough And Periodic Chills
My husband had rotator cuff surgery on 3/24/15. Ten days later he was admitted to the hospital with fluid around the heart and 102 fever. He is better now, on a diuretic, but he has had a persistant cough for over 3 weeks and periodic chills. After a cardiologist and orthosurgeon what should I do next? He is also on Ibuprofin for pain. Thank you! His wife.

As per your history first of all I will say go for x-ray chest because cough is persistant for more than 3 weeks. He can take some antibiotics after an expert opinion of your doctor with tab calpol 8-12 hourly or can continue ibuprofen as advised for fever with syrup ambrodil-s or syrup grilinctus-bm every 8-12 hours for cough. Don't worry much and take care of him, he will be fine soon.
