Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good day. I am 16 years old, female. I am 5 feet and 5 inches in height and I weigh 130 lbs. I had experienced hyperventilation/panic attacks at times and I wear glasses (grade: 200/175). There was a time wherein I woke up and all I saw were gray spinning images of everything I look at at the time in a clockwise direction. I am unsure of how long it lasted because I immediately went back to sleep, but I was awake approximately 10 seconds and the spinning motion still had not disappeared. It was my first time experiencing it. What disease do you call it and what can I do to cure it if ever it happens again?
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. You suggest that you had experienced panic attacks / hyperventilation. May I know who diagnosed your case? If it is not diagnosed by a doctor then don't conclude anything. Consult a psychologist / psychiatrist for diagnosis.
Panic attacks are usually due to underlying anxiety disorder. You need to treat and cure anxiety disorder. Understanding the anxiety helps in managing it and managing panic attacks related to it. Please get yourself diagnosed first.
