i have red string like sores under my tongue along with sores on my tonsils and back of my throat..the ones one the back of my throat look like a slight shade of yellow what could this be? it feels like something sharp is stabbing the side of my tongue. do you have any idea what it could be?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain red string like sores under the tongue can be apthous ulcers along with sores on tonsils and throat can be due to infection in throat that can be bacterial or viral in nature.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and along with clinical examination of your throat he can also advise you throat swab culture to rule out the exact cause of the infection. He can advise you antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Motrin or Advil, warm saline gargles and steam inhalations.. Avoid spicy food.. You can also gargle with numbing mouthwash to relieve pain and soreness in mouth and throat.. Do warm saline gargles.. Soda bicarb gargles can also help..
Hope this information helps..
