I went to er this morning because i could see white streaks of pus on my tonsil and they didnt do a test for strep but just looked at it and said I had it. Could this be something worse? My tonsils are completly covered with white puss now and I have taken two antibiotics already today and now I can drink or eat my throat hurts to bad. Nothing helps the pain not even my migraine medicine fioricet that is a strong pain killer. Er doc. told me just to use tylenol and ibuprofin but that dont touch my pain. What should I do? I plan on calling my ENT monday to see if i can get in to get my tonsils removed right away it couldnt hurt much worse then it does now. I have a pic I took of my tonsils tonight and how much worse they are now.
