Suggest Remedy For Pain In Throat And Stomach After Swallowing Jagged Edged Tablet
I cut a pill in half and after swallowing it realized it was causing pain. It seems to be in the area where the esophagus empties into the stomach. Now my stomach is sore. The pill was designed to be breakable into two, but I m worried its edges were too jagged. The pill contains hydrocodone so I m concerned it may deaden any serious pain. I have gastritis and Crohns disease in my small intestine. Thank you.

You have developed inflammation of throat and acute gastritis...take this treatment for 1 week....(1) saline gargles with warm water 3 times a day (2) tablet ranitidine twice daily (3) capsule omeprazole once daily before breakfast
