Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. It is good that your reports were normal and you are having no deficit.

Now coming to your headache, it may occur for few days. It will subside on its own. For relief, you can follow few tips

: Avoid pressure at injury site
: You can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription.
: You can even use painkiller patch like Aceclofenac patch after proper prescription.
: If still no relief, you can take combination of painkiller with sustained formulation like Aceclofenac-Paracetamol, Tramadol-Paracetamol after proper prescription.

If still no relief, you should consult doctor for re-evaluation. The doctor might advise CT head to rule out

: Fracture of skull bone - It can cause pain for few weeks.

: Chronic subdural hepatoma or delayed bleed in brain - Sometimes bleed may occur late or chronic subdural hepatoma may form. It is usually managed by conservative method except large size, sever headache, pressure on brain, focal weakness. In such cases, surgical evacuation may be needed.

Hope it will help you. Thanks.

Take care.
