Hello, I have gone through the query and understood the concern. Ovarian cysts are usually benign and managed by observation when the size of the cyst is smaller than 2-3 cm. When the cysts are bigger than this, active management is needed. The fact that you also have an endometrial polyp suggests that your ovarian cyst could be secreting hormones responsible for the excess endometrial growth. Hence, treatment is needed either through medical means or through surgical removal. The discomfort can be due to the cyst. The cause of the anemia should be detected if there is no response with iron supplements. Ultrasound is usually sufficient for most diagnoses, but MRI of the pelvis and contrast CT are useful for the difficult ones. Hope this helps.
