Suggest Remedy For Numbness In The Right Arm

I experience numbness in my arm and hand , especially my right arm (I usually sleep on my right side.) When I wake up I shake my arm and can sense the blood flow into my arm and the numbness disappears. This never happens during the day. I am 85 years old, in good shape

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Looking at your experience of numbness in right and you sleeping on right side, I am of the opinion that you would be compressing the nerves in that position.
You need to change your sleeping position. As most of the other times, it is normal, I would not think of other pathology.
Compression due to pressure on the nerves and vessels and I expect it to be only in the mornings, as whole night compression would have cause severe pain.
Try changing position of sleeping. Add a pillow as necessary.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
