Suggest Remedy For Numbness And Tingling While Having High Fever

I have had a fever for two days, I can't get it below 103 even with Advil and now almost all of the tips of my fingers are numb and tingly like they feel asleep. I thought it was because my hands were cold but when I used the blow dryer to warm them up I couldn't even feel the heat on the tips of the fingers that are numb.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The high temperature implies that you have an infection though inflammation of any kind can cause fever. The most common infections are viral or bacterial.

The presence of additional symptoms would help to determine the exact infection. The numbness should resolve with the infection.

With this high fever that is not resolving with medication, it would be best to visit your doctor for assessment so that the source can be determined.

I hope this helps
