Suggest Remedy For Missed Periods After Miscarriage

I am experiencing anxiety and getting angry easily. I am having alot of gas. I started spotting on October 31st for a week then I started a regular flow then have been spotting since until today when I started a heavy flow. I have not had a cycle since I miscarried until October. It has been a year since I miscarried. Do I need to make an appointment or is this normal?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular periods after miscarriage can be due to post abortal dysfunctional uterine bleeding or due to hormonal disturbances in the body like hypothyroidism.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including pap smear, hormonal profile and endometrial biopsy, if required, and get the further management accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti Verma
