Suggest Remedy For Migraines And High BP

For the last several days I have had mild to moderate migraines (after a few dizzy spells) and today it has been 4 days and I have another headache. So I checked my BP and it was 167/98 and HR 87. I have a prescription for BP medicine that I was taken off of a few months ago and I was thinking about taking one of them until I can get to the doctor. Any advice?

HI
Welcome to H C M
I am Dr B M GUPTA answering your question
Maintain your B P at less than 140/90 for age less than 60 yrs and 150/90 for age more than 60 yrs
For Migraine you can take Tablet Paracetamol 4 hourly available on the counter. If not controlled other medicine Eg. Ibuprofen,Naproxen as required
Your doctor would advice same medicine for both aliments Eg. beta blockers
Advice to
-Cut caffeine containing foods-excess of tea, coffee, colas
-Cheese
-Alcohol
Cut extra salt for high B P .
If migraine headache is more than twice a week your doctor would prescribe some preventive medicines for regular use
Thanks
