Suggest Remedy For Mental Health Problems

Heloo Doctor,I am writing this for my mother. I lost my dad two years back. Since then my mother is staying with me in GCC as i am the only child of my parents. She was a very jovial and social lady, likes talking and mingling with others. Of late we have observed that she feels very lazy to do her own work and tries prefers to sit gloomy through out the day. She gets tensed for very pity things and this will lead her to confusion in what she is doing. As a result of this memory is also very bad. She is 64 years old. We are planning to come to Calicut next month and to consult her with a doctor. She herself says that she wants to come out of this. Please advice how to go about this?
