Suggest Remedy For Lumps

I have a small raised hard lump of skin on the surface of my left nostril - I saw a doc who said it looked like a corn and prescribed Fucidin cream. But can you get a corn inside your nostril? And how can I treat it? (I'm male 33, no other medical history)

Hi ! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. If I were your doctor, I would advise you to avoid pricking your nostril if you do this. If it does not heal with a course of antibiotic/antiseptic, I would refer you to an ENT specialist for a proper clinical examination along with related investigations for a proper diagnosis and further management.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
