Suggest Remedy For Lumps In Throat With Severe Cough

I have had a hacking cough for 2 weeks which started with head congestion and a sore throat. The congestion has cleared and the sore throat went away until today. It feels like I have a lump in my throat when I swallow and it hurts. The cough is still present , more so when I wake in the mornings.

As per your complain it seems that you have got a Viral infection leading to Cough, congestion and sore throat..

Feeling of lump is also due to inflammation and infection in throat..

Nothing to worry as it will get resolved soon..
You can start taking anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, anti allergics like Levocetrizine, cough suppressant containing Dextromethorphan..
Do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room as it will make you breath moist air and will reduce tendecy to cough..
Such throat lozenges and sip on plenty of warm water..
