Hi i have been having this problem that i cant seem to get the answer for.. 3 months ago i woke up one day with this slight pain in the back of my right knee. I didnt think anything of it at first then as days went by it got worse and worse until i went to see my doctor about it 2 weeks later.. The pain was never there when i would walk it was just very painful when i would sit still and get up.. Or sit with my knee bent and then try to un bend it. It would get stiff and i couldnt not straighten my leg out and sometimes i would lose blood circulation in my foot and it goes numb. My doctor said it can be a dvt so i had blood test done and a xray and ultrasound done too. It all came back with nothing wrong. She said i could have pulled a muscle but i was sure i didnt. So i went on an anti inflamotry but that made me sick. Then a few weeks later i woke up one say with the exact same thing in my left knee but this time the pain got worse more quickly within days so i went back to the doctor and repeated the whole process again and there was no result of anything being wrong. So she sent me to a rheumatologist because she thought it can be ithritis. Yet again nothing is wrong. Now the other day i woke up and the pain in my knees had gone completly and its gone down to my feet but it hurts so much more to walk on. It hurts only at the top part of my feet and partly my toes. I dont know what it can be and i cant seem to find the answer. I dont want to go back to the doctor and repeat the whole process of blood test and xrays and ultrasounds and ct scans pls help me!!!
Hello I have studied your case. There is possibility of nerve compression leading to radicular knee pain down to toes. Another possibility of injury to meniscus and ligament of knee. I will advise you MRI spine and if required MRI knee to confirm diagnosis. Till time physiotherapy like ten and matrix may help you. I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
