my son is suffering from jaundice 2nd time after a year.his sgpt is 1800 & billubrin is 5.8.His age is 19 years.he is advice to take liv 52 & nexpro rd40.please suggest the correct diet as he demand more eating.please also suggest the risk for above sgpt & billubrin level he is heaving & also suggest the proper medicine & the above medicine will we continue or not.we are very confused for his diet.his eyes is look likes yellow but he dot have pain in stomach & nor any symptoms of vomitting. please suggest the proper eating system & the proper medicine & suggesation for the above medicine.what is your opinion about BILEX POWDER. Since bilirubin and SGPT are so much elevated, has the attack second time in a year and he is only 19 years old I would suggest the following in such a situation. He needs an opinion of a Gastroenterologist. Investigations like regular liver function tests. MRCP means MRI for hepatico- pancreatic system. Blood tests for knowing the type of jaundice. ERCP to visualize the bile ducts and other tests as may be needed. Diet should be anything that is light for digestion. No oily or spicy foods. Plenty of fruit juices. Strict bed rest.
