My Dear
Welcome to this site!
I have noted your details and concerns.
To me your description seems resembling an
irritant dermatitis in which one gets
rash like yours on
limbs while engaging in outdoor activities. Invariably, such rashes are itchy and troublesome.
You can easily control the situation by following measures as these measures have helped all similar patients of mine.
1 frequent washing of the affected areas without soaps to flush away the irritants.
2 Application of weak steroidal creams like
Hydrocortisone which are both anti allergic and anti-inflammatory in action
3 Antihistamines like Avil or
Cetirizine help alleviate itching
4 Physical protection from conditions in which the rash tends to occur to ward off future discomfort.
Generally, the response to medication should be noticeable within two days or so provided further exposure is avoided.
I am sure you will be able to report good improvement soon.
Best wishes
