Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My inner labia and vulva entrance is very red tender itchy and sore! Im having browny discharge where it seems like normal discharge mixed with blood. I have no lumps or bumps and inside seems fine. Could this be BV or thrush or just from having rough sex/not enough lubrication a few days ago?
thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....
see thrush or BV both are associated with whitish discharge mainly....BV is also not associated with severe itching...browny discharge is mostly associated with blood, well blood can be present with bacterial infections in vagina.... anyways if the bleeding is not too much, try tab metronidazole and tab fluconazole single dose, avoid sexual contact for few days, and maintain genital cleanliness... otherwise, consult a gynaecologist for further management....
hope this was helpful.... regards
