Suggest Remedy For Itching In Ear Canal

my left ear canal is itching like crazy (started yesterday I think) the itching is way down in my ear. I suffer seasonal allergies and take OTC meds for it everyday. i used white vinegar and rubbing alcohol to flush out my outer ear, but no relief and its driving me bananas

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain itching inside the ear canal along with a history of having allergies seems to be due to allergic reaction while it can also be due to infection in the ear canal also known as Otitis Externa or Otitis Media..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolarynglogist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and Otoscopic examination of ear can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..

In case of infection you can be advised to take antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, steroids and antibiotic and steroid ear drops..
