Suggest Remedy For Insomnia & Depression

Hi: I take Zoloft, 75mg. per day. For the last 2 years. Much of the time I don t do anything. I have no interest in anything. I don;t sleep well. I have been struggling with this for years. Since my mother died.I m 64, retired. I buy vitamins and don t take them. I know I can got to a psychiatrist, and get my meds changed. I don t do that either. My room is a mess. Everything in my life is not bad.. Jody

Psychiatrist 's  Response
hello user, i understand your concerns , and it is appreciable that you are discussing your troubles despite such hardships - that means you have not given up all hopes - but a little bit of more will be required from you to fight this battle , like giving a visit to the psychiatrist who may optimise your dosage of sertraline as per your symptoms(the current dose does not seem apt) - but do not do it yourself - you may lend into trouble otherwise especially with your age - you can also consult any good psychologist for behavioural therapy - you can take help of any friend or family member or even neighbours in accompanying you - there is nothing wrong in asking help . Take care
