General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
If I was your treating physician I would prescribe you a course of Antibiotics (like amoxicillin thrice a day) for 5 days.
Also I think you might need to get wound debridement (cleaning) and dressing done fresh everyday by a qualified health care provider for a couple of days depending on the size of the wound, your age and general health.
I am guessing you are young and male so 5 days would be sufficient.
And the next time you fall on the road don't forget to get a Tetanus Shot.
If you follow as advised the danger is minimal
