I don t know your cardiac ultrasound report, but if your hypertrophis cardiomyopathy is associated with left ventricular outflow obstruction, that drug is not a good option and should not be used. Instead, apart taking coreg, other alternative options such as calcium channel blockers (like verapamil) or disopiramide may be appropriate. You just have to talk with your doctor. about that issue.
