Welcome and thank you for asking!
Except of pituitary adenoma often the cause of the high prolactin level is a high TSH level. Now that the TSh level is corrected it is excluded as a cause of non improvement of prolactine level.
If pituitary micro adenoma is confirmed with MRI, you may talk to your treating physician about the possibility to raise the dose of cabergoline (it may be needed up to 4 mg in a week).
If you are in the maximum dose and still no effect seen than other alternative of treatment should be discussed.
Hope the information will be helpful.
Wish you good health.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
